This is a personal site. The goal is to collect as little data as practical while still understanding whether the site is useful.

Analytics

This site uses Umami for lightweight traffic measurement. Umami is configured without cookies, limited to this site's domains, and with Do Not Track respected, so the goal is basic aggregate page-view data rather than personal profiling.

Newsletter

If you subscribe, the email address you submit is sent to Kit so I can send updates you asked to receive. Kit handles the newsletter list, confirmation, unsubscribe, and email preference mechanics.

Contact

If you use the contact form, the information you submit is sent through the form provider so I can read and reply to your message.

War Room and Google Workspace data

War Room is my private founder operating tool. If I explicitly connect a Gmail account, War Room uses read-only access to read message metadata and plain-text message content. It uses that information to identify conversations that may need my attention, link me to the original Gmail thread, and prepare local reply drafts that I can choose to copy and send myself.

War Room cannot send, modify, label, mark as read, or delete Gmail messages, and it cannot create drafts in Gmail. It does not store attachments, raw email files, full HTML, tracking pixels, or full message bodies. It stores message identifiers, thread state, a source link, and encrypted message details including the subject, participants, and a sanitized excerpt of up to 500 characters. Those encrypted message details are scheduled for deletion within 30 days. Detected authentication codes, password resets, and security notifications are excluded from storage and model processing.

Google user data is used only to provide these user-facing War Room features. It is not sold, used for advertising, used to make lending or credit decisions, or used to train or improve a general-purpose AI model. It is not transferred except to service providers needed to operate these features under appropriate data-handling controls, or when required for security or by law. Disconnecting an account revokes War Room's future Google access; existing encrypted message details remain subject to the 30-day deletion schedule.

War Room's use and transfer of information received from Google Workspace APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
